Directions to PHS
The Program in Human Sexuality and the Center for Sexual Health are located on the west bank of the Mississippi River near I-35W and Washington Avenue South in Minneapolis.

Driving Directions

From the South on I-35W (northbound)
Exit 17C 3rd Street/Washington Avenue/U of M and follow the signs for the West Bank. Turn LEFT onto Washington Avenue. Go 1 block and turn RIGHT onto 12th Avenue South. Go 1 block and turn RIGHT onto South 2nd Street.

From the North on I-35W (southbound)
Exit 17C Washington Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto Washington Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto 12th Avenue South. Go 1 block and turn RIGHT onto South 2nd Street.

From the East on I-94 (westbound)
Exit 234B 5th Street. Turn RIGHT onto 11th Avenue South. Turn RIGHT onto South 2nd Street.

From the West on I-94 (eastbound)
Take 35W north Exit 233C 3rd Street/Washington Avenue/U of M and follow the signs for the West Bank.  Turn LEFT on Washington Avenue. Go 1 block and turn RIGHT on 12th Avenue South. Go 1 block and turn RIGHT on South 2nd Street.

Parking
Convenient parking is available at the West Bank Office Building Ramp connected to the PHS offices. For current parking rates visit Parking and Transportation Services. Minneapolis city parking meters are located on South 2nd Street. You can also find numerous parking lots throughout the neighborhood within walking distance of PHS.

Bus Stop/Light Rail
The nearest MetroTransit bus stop is on the corner of Washington Avenue at 11th Avenue South for the Route 7 or Route 22 buses. For light rail, use the Downtown East/Metrodome Station stop. For more information in planning your trip, visit MetroTransit.

Flight Information
PHS is conveniently located thirty minutes from the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport (MSP). You may take a quick cab ride or public transportation to downtown.

By light rail from the Lindbergh Terminal take the Hiawatha Line/Downtown Minneapolis to the Cedar-Riverside Station. From the platform it is a 15 minute walk to PHS. Head NORTH on 15th Avenue South toward South 6th Street, 15th Avenue South turns right and becomes South 4th Street. Turn LEFT at Cedar Avenue and continue LEFT onto Washington Avenue. After crossing I-35W, take the first RIGHT onto the sidewalk (if you miss this, you can turn RIGHT onto 12th Avenue South) and take a RIGHT onto South 2nd Street.
