HealthEast St. John's Hospital is the only hospital serving the northeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. It is a 172-bed acute care community hospital built in 1985. The administration and medical staff place a strong emphasis on family medicine. Family physicians comprise more than 50 percent of the medical staff and account for 75 percent of all hospital admissions.
HealthEast is one of just two health care organizations in the Twin Cities to be named by Modern Heathcare as one of the Top 100 "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" in the nation. In addition, for the past four years HealthEast has been named one of the "Best Places to Work" by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
